Overnight rains overwhelm Bengaluru again; People lash out at administration

Bengaluru: People in India’s IT capital, Bengaluru, had to face hardships after the incessant rains since Sunday night caused waterlogging. Many localities were inundated by rainwater and people blamed the civic authorities for the mess.
Rains that poured over the last week had caused countless miseries to the city’s residents as many localities faced waterlogging. As rains subsided over the past 2 days, people heave a sigh of relief. However, rains on Sunday night once again hit normal life.
Streets were flooded, on Monday morning, inconveniencing the commuters. Bellandur road and outer ring road were flooded again disrupting vehicular traffic. Similar scenes were witnessed at Sarjapur Road, Marathahalli-Silk Board Junction Road, Hosur Road, and Koramangala among others where roads turned into pools full of water.
Bengaluru residents took to Twitter to complain about their woes. The microblogging site was flooded with messages of complaints of waterlogging.
