Udupi: Thieves decamp with gold ornaments from two jewellery shops

Unidentified thieves broke into two jewelry shops located at Hebri main road and escaped with gold ornaments worth over Rs 3.75 lac here.
The theft took place at Ganesh Jewellery near the national highway and Sri Rajarajeshwari Jewellers on Kucchur road on September 13 late at night.
Police personnel arrived at the spot for inspection and collected fingerprint evidence from the scene.
The identity of the thieves is yet to be established as there were no CCTV cameras at the shop.
Hebri police are investigating the case.
