Udupi: Retd bank employee accuses tenant of withdrawing Rs 9.75L from his bank

A retired bank employee has filed a police complaint accusing his tenant of withdrawing Rs. 9,75,500 from his bank account in a span of a month.

The accused identified as Ramesh was employed as a ward boy at a government hospital.

The complainant M Balakrishna Naika claimed that he withdrew the amount from his bank account by using the ATM card and OTP. The transactions took place between July 4, 2022 to August 10, 2022, he alleged.

Apart from the money, two gold rings were also reported as missing.

Udupi town police filed a case.
