Diwali rush: Spl Trains to run b/w M’luru-Mumbai

Mangaluru: The railways will be running special trains between Mangalore Junction and Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Station to cater to the extra rush of passengers during the Diwali season.
Train No. 01187 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Madgaon Jn. Special (Weekly) will depart from Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 22:15 hrs every Sunday from October 16 to November 13. The train will reach Madgaon Jn. at 10:30 hrs on the next day.
Train No. 01188 Madgaon Jn. – Lokmanya Tilak (T) Special (Weekly) will leave from Madgaon Jn. at 11:30 hrs every Monday from October 17 to November 14. The train will reach Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 23:45 hrs on the same day.
The train will halt at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim and Karmali stations.
Train No. 01185 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Mangaluru Jn. Special (Weekly) will leave from Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 22:15 hrs every Friday, from October 21 to November 11. The train will reach Mangaluru Jn. at 17:05 hrs on the next day.
Train No. 01186 Mangaluru Jn. – Lokmanya Tilak (T) Special (Weekly) will leave from Mangaluru Jn. at 18:45 hrs every Saturday from October 22 to November 12. The train will reach Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 14:25 hrs on the next day.
The train will halt at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon Jn., Karwar, Gokarna Road, Kumta, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor (H), Kundapura, Udupi, Mulki and Surathkal stations.
