Vijayapura: Couple killed, nine injured in road mishap

Vijayapur: Two persons were killed and nine others were injured after the cruiser they were traveling in collided with the sugarcane laded lorry.

The deceased are Bhayoji Shinde (50) and his wife Sumitra Shinde (45), residents of Athani.

The incident took place while a family was traveling in a cruiser to a temple in Maharashtra.

The injured are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital here.
