Vittal: A person who was crossing the road died on the spot after a bike struck him, here on Sunday, November 20.
The incident was reported from Bollukallu near Mani on Mangaluru-Bengaluru national highway.
The deceased is identified as Shubhakar, a resident of Puttur.
Shubhkar was leaving for his daughter’s house at Puttur.
While he was crossing the road, the bike rammed into him. Due to the impact, he died on spot.
Although he was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance he was declared brought dead.
