Puttur: Inebriated man allegedly kills his younger brother, escapes

Puttur: An incident of an inebriated man named Ningana Gowda, a resident of Hosur of Haveri district, allegedly killing his younger brother Madevappa has been reported from the Kemminje village.

The incident took place on Thursday, December 1 night in an under-construction building.

Ningana who is a construction worker was totally drunk on Thursday night and had gotten down for a fight with Madevappa. As the fight turned violent, Ningana brutally attacked his younger brother, leading to his death.

Ningana is said to have immediately fled the spot.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered at the Puttur Police Station and the police are on a search for the accused Ningana.
