Chikkamagaluru: One person was arrested for peddling drugs by police here.
Police said that Mohammed Zartab was arrested from Pavitravana in Chikkamagaluru City for trying to sell MDMA. He was caught selling the drugs in a car in a public area, they added.
As much as 12 grams of MDMA worth Rs 1 lakh was seized from him.
Meanwhile, police said, they are on the lookout for another accused involved in the case.
A case has been registered at the CEN Police Station in Chakkamagaluru City.
