Haleangadi: Goods train bogies detach near railway gate

Haleangadi: Tensions prevailed among the railway staff and passengers after some compartments of a goods train got detached from the train’s body near a railway.
The incident took place when the train was on its way to Mangaluru from Padubidriat the time of the incident.
The compartments of the train got detached near the railway gate and as the result, the commuters were struck on both sides of the gate.
The compartments of the train got detached and the remaining bogies had moved forward for a certain distance.
The train was stopped and brought back so the bogies could be re-attached to the train.
