Puttur: Woman killed, husband, son injured in car accident

Puttur: A 50-year-old woman was killed while her husband and son sustained serious injuries in a car accident at Karbasanka near Nelyadi on Thursday, March 30 morning.

The deceased has been identified as Annapurna (50).

As per reports, the family was on its way to Mangaluru from Bengaluru when Annapurna’s husband lost control of the car and hit the road divider.

The injured have been hospitalised.

Uppinangady police visited the accident spot and began the investigation.
