Kolar: V R Sudarshan says goodbye to active politics

Kolar: Former Chairman of the Karnataka Vadhana Parishad V. R. Sudarshan has decided to say goodbye to active politics.
Speaking to Udayavani in Kolar City, Sudarshan said that he has been involved in active politics for the past several decades and has now decided to stay away due to various reasons. He said that he will give more details about his decision after April 25-26.
Meanwhile, he clarified that he will continue to actively participate in social and developmental activities during his retirement from politics.
Sudarshan had sought a Congress ticket from the Kolar assembly constituency in the upcoming Karnataka Assembly elections. His sudden decision to quit Congress as well as active politics has created a lot of speculation in political circles.
