Udupi: Nejar family brutal murder case; Accused arrested

In a significant development, the Udupi police have successfully apprehended the prime suspect in the brutal murder case of four family members in Nejar.
The accused, identified as Praveen Arun Chowgale, was arrested in Kuduchi, Belgaum.
Praveen Arun Chowgale, who was reportedly a cabin crew member of an airline and had a background as a CRPF personnel, is believed to be from Sangli, Maharashtra.
The arrest follows the heinous crime committed on November 12, where four members of a family were found murdered at their residence in Tripthi Layout, Nejar.
According to sources, the arrest was made at a relative’s house in Kudachi, where the accused was located based on mobile tower data.
The motive behind the gruesome murders is suspected to be linked to an immoral relationship. The police are expected to carry out further investigations to unveil the details surrounding this shocking incident.
