Manipal: Student killed in motorbike – scooter collision

Udupi: A 19-year-old girl died in a collision between a bike and a scooter on Manipal’s Collectorate Road.

The deceased, identified as Sushmita (19) from Hiriadka, was riding a pillion on the bike involved in the accident.

both vehicles were moving from Coin Circle towards Syndicate Circle. The scooter rider reportedly took an abrupt right turn without indication, leading to the collision.

Sushmita who fell onto the road, was seriously injured and died on the spot.

She was pursuing her studies at a private college in the city.

A case has been registered at Manipal Police station.
