Honda is by all accounts chipping away at a streetfighter version of its quarter-litre sportbike – the CBR 250RR. In light of the bits of gossip, an Indonesian media house has revealed a rendering of the cruiser.
The main distinction between the CBR250RR and the streetfighter is the absence of fairing. This gives us a superior take a gander at the trellis outline, boosting its crude interest. Different bits like the etched fuel tank, twin-pipe exhaust, raised tail section and the alloy wheels are imparted to the CBR250RR. It additionally gets the new completely computerized instrument support.
The Honda CBR250RR streetfighter will retain the 249.7cc liquid cooled parallel-twin engine, which is mated to a six-speed transmission. The engine delivers 36.3bhp and 22.5Nm of torque. It rides on inverted front forks and a Pro-Link five-step adjustable rear monoshock. ABS is offered as an optional extra.
The Honda CBR250RR is expected to hit showrooms in Indonesia and Thailand in the next few months. It will compete with the likes of the Yamaha MT-25 and the Kawasaki Z250. It might come to India in the later period.
