Bengaluru: In yet another incident that brings shame to India’s IT city, an Air Hostess was reportedly sexually assaulted and injured by an unidentified biker in one of the city’s posh localities.
It is said that the incident took place on February 12 and was reported on February 14, but even six days later, there has been no progress in the case.
It is learnt that the victim was walking with a friend towards her house in HRBR Layout at about 10 pm on February 12 when the biker approached them. Reports state that the biker was wearing a full face helmet and began misbehaving with the Air Hostess and allegedly tore her top; she also suffered injuries.
As soon as the two women raised an alarm, the biker managed to escape.
The case was registered under Section 354 (outraging modesty) of IPC and investigations are on.
