Mumbai :  Reacting to filmmaker Shoojit Sircar’s demand to ban reality shows involving kids, actor Tiger Shroff said such shows give children a sense of direction and goal in life. In a tweet, Sircar yesterday asked authorities concerned to ban reality TV shows that have children as participants.

When asked if reality shows take away the innocence of children, Tiger told reporters today, “Not really. It is great because it helps the child channelise all the restless positive energy and gives them a direction from a very early age. So, it is fantastic.”

The “Baaghi” actor said he doesn’t want to take “panga” (fight) with anyone but his views differ from others. “My view is different. Education is important and so is extracurricular activity. For a very balanced life of a child, extracurricular activity is important… studies are not everything.”

Tiger will be next seen in “Munna Michael”, which also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The “Badlapur” actor will be seen dancing in a song in the film and he said he had couldn’t sleep the night before the shoot.
“Initially, I was very embarrassed. I couldn’t even sleep. But as the shoot progressed, I started enjoying it. I used to observe Tiger.”

Nawazuddin said with “Munna Michael”, he got over his apprehension to dance. Tiger, however, said, “He (Nawaz) used to do the difficult steps very easily but the easy ones would be hard for him to do. For a non-dancer, it was amazing how he could do Michael Jackson’s footwork easily.
