Traffic Police Head Constable Arrested in Bengaluru after Assault on Namma Metro Security

Bengaluru: Police arrested Bengaluru airport traffic police station head constable, GH Veeranna who reportedly assaulted Namma Metro security person on Friday night. The accused arrested by Vijayanagara police on July 16 following a complaint from the victim, Bhimappa Kilari.
The incident occurred when Kilari tried to check drunken head constable before entering Hosahalli metro station, however, irritated by the move of the Kilari, head constable beaten him on the spot. Following the incident, Kilari registered a complaint at Vijayanagara police station against Veeranna and based on the complaint, the police arrested the accused for further legal proceedings.
