Muzaffarnagar: A woman and her lover were arrested for allegedly killing her husband at Kairana town in Shamli district, the police said today. Waseem was found dead in his house on September 29.
Gulista Begum and her paramour Anil were arrested for killing Waseem by strangulating him, said SHO, Kariana, Dharmendra Kumar.
He said they killed him because he got to know about their illicit relationship and was opposing it.
