Bengaluru: Karnataka High Court has asked agitating private doctors in the state to stop their strike against KPME (Amendment) Bill 2017 immediately. The high court’s statement came after hearing public interest litigation (PIL) on Thursday which asked the court to direct the concerned authorities to stop the strike immediately as it paralyzed medical services in Karnataka.

High court has also asked the state government to find solution after discussing the issues with the private doctors to end the plight of common people  as they have been facing inconvenience after the doctors begun their agitation from Monday.

The high court has also expressed its anger on ongoing protests and said the state government is yet to table the bill in the current session of the state legislature and there is huge time lag to discuss any issue related to the bill.

Meanwhile, thousands of people were seen struggling to avail medical facilities at various parts of the state amid ongoing agitation of the private doctors. As many as 26 patients reportedly lost their lives in Karnataka during the past three days as they failed to get medical service on time.
