Cow shed caught fire; no casualties

Mangaluru: An Omni Van and a cow shed here ignited after the gas from the car leaked and caught fire.

The incident took place at Maribettu, Moodukonaje near Moodbidri here today.

Jagadish Jain, was washing his Omni vehicle parked in front of the cowshed of the house. Meanwhile there was leakage of gas from the vehicle. The car was engulfed within minutes with fire.

Luckily the  cows were a little away from the shed when the fire broke out.

The intensity of fire increased when the grass in the cowshed too caught fire. Jagadish has sustained injuries on his face, back and hands.

Fortunately the cows were unharmed as those were tied away from the cowshed at the time of the incident.
