KPCC chief, G Parameshwara launches his yatra at Mulbagal

Kolar: State Congress president G Parameshwara on Thursday launched election tour from Mulbagal in Kolar district.
Parameshwara’s yatra is a parallel to Siddaramaiah’s Nava Karnataka Nirmana yatra which was started from Basavakalyan in Bidar district
Addressing the gathering at Mulbagal, Parameshwara said the Congress has already worked out a strategy for next year’s Assembly polls and expressed confidence that the government will retain its power in the State.
Parameshwara took this opportunity to speak against the BJP party members, he said several BJP leaders, including B S Yeddyurappa had landed in jail following corruption charges.
Parameshwara lashed out at PM Narendra Modi and called him “unethical and shameless” politician who has not kept his promises.
Speaking at the occasion, Energy Minister D K Shivakumar said the BJP might have won in Gujarat, but the party’s strategy will not work here in Karnataka.
