DC externs two rowdies from the district

Bantwal: DK DC Sasikanth Senthil has issued orders to extern Hindu Jagarana Vedike activist Ratnakar Shetty and Popular Front of India leader Khaleel from the district for six months.

Shetty and Khaleel from Kalladka near here have involved in several crimes as listed in Bantwal rural police station.

Earlier in June, both Shetty and Khaleel attacked each other which led to communal riots, said Superintendent of Police Sudhir Kumar Reddy.

Both have been accused of causing communal riots in Kalladka recently.

The DC has ordered both Ratnakar Shetty and Khaleel to stay out of Dakshina Kannada district for six months, he added.
