CM Siddaramaiah and Prakash Raj receive ‘Man of the Year 2017’ award

Bengaluru: CM Siddaramaiah and Actor Prakash Raj received ‘Man of the Year 2017’ at the Bangalore Press Club here on Sunday.

Nirmalanandanatha Swami, head of Adichunchanagiri Mutt, presented the award at a function on the club premises.

Addressing the gathering CM Siddaramaiah said “Media can analyse my government and criticise it. It will be welcomed.”

When Actor Raj was questioned on joining politics he said “I have no interest to enter politics, If posed a challenge I will join politics,”

He added that he neither has any political aspiration nor liking for a particular party, however, he would always be with those who oppose communal and fascist forces. 

“I will continue to raise my voice even more strongly against them in the days to come,” he added.
