Hindu outfits launched 15-day campaign drive against Love Jihad

Mangaluru: Hindu outfits including the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrangdal and Durga Vahini women’s wing commenced 15-day long awareness campaign against Love Jihad at Sri Laxmi Narayana Temple near PVS today.

The rally was launched by VHP State Working President M B Puranik. After the launch, the group moved into a rally spreading awareness on the subject.

The members are scheduled to meet people at various locations such as colleges, workplaces and homes to create awareness and distribute pamphlets on the topic.

The organizers have planned to hold meeting at ward levels and create awareness to prevent young girls falling prey to Love Jihad.

Bajrang Dal convenor Sharan Pumpwell, Gopal Kuthar, Bhujanga Kulal, Surekha Raj and others participated in the rally.
