Mangaluru: High court has rejected a plea to drop probe into the stone pelting case at the Income Tax office at Attavar here.

The incident took place at Attavar here when protestors started pelting stones at IT office. The outrage was due to the IT raids conducted on DK Shivkumar’s residence and his properties.

Justice K N Phaneendra, which heard a writ petition filed by Congress activist, A C Vinay Raj, seeking to withdraw the first information report filed against him, passed the said order on Monday January 29.

Hearing to the pleas from both the ends the HC said that further probe will be done on this case and rejected the pleas to close the case.
