Muzaffarnagar: Body of a 26-year-old engineer, who was missing since a day, was found in Ladpur village here, police said today.
Himanshu’s body with injury marks on neck was found in a field yesterday, a day after he went missing, Circle Officer Rajiv Kumar Singh said. The family members of the victim protested and initially refused to handover the body for post-mortem, he said.
They were demanding immediate arrest of three men – Mohit, Subham and Arun, accusing them of killing Himanshu over some financial dispute, Singh said. Later the police pacified the irate family members and sent the body for post-mortem examination, the officer said.
A case has been registered against the three men who are absconding, the circle officer said.
