Supreme Courts dismisses Reddy’s plea to campaign in Ballari

New Delhi/Ballari: The Supreme Court on May 4, rejected a plea to allow G Janardhan Reddy, BJP pioneer, to campaign for his brother G Somashekhar Reddy, in Bellari. The mining baron has additionally been kept from voting from Bellari in the upcoming Assembly elections in which his brother will be constesting. 

Finding no legitimacy both of his pleas, the Supreme Court expelled them today. 

He was banished from entering Ballari, the place where he grew up, the core of his mining empire. Notwithstanding, on Wednesday, he was seen simply outside the district, campaigning for his companion V Sriramulu, the BJP applicant in Molakalmuru. 

The Reddy brothers– MLA and ministers amid the former BJP government in the state have been accused for conducting largescale illegal mining across the iron-ore-rich district of Ballari.
