Two children drown in Kali river in UP

Muzaffarnagar: Two children drowned in Kali river here when they went to take a bath, police said today
Sakib (11) and Shahbaz (12), who were students of a madrasa, slipped and fell into the river last evening when they had gone for a bath, Circle Officer Harish Bhadoria said. Following a rescue operation, the children were found but when they were rushed to hospital they were declared dead, he said.
