Congress MLAs who were denied ministerial posts hold meetings

Bengaluru: The Congress high command in the state is in a battle mode as a few displeased Congress MLAs who did not get a ministerial berth in the coalition government held a series of meeting =s, sources near the gathering guaranteed. 

Former mnister and Congress MLA M B Patil held a series of meetings with 16 different MLAs on the extension of the bureau. Ishwar Khandre, B C Patil, Roshan Baig, Haris, Narayanamurthi, H Anjaneya, H K Patil, Rahim Khan and Raghumurthi were among the MLAs who went to the meeting at M B Patil’s residence, sources asserted. 

It is accumulated that the Congress high order has issued a notice to its MLAs not to take part in anti-party acts. 

Meanwhile, Congress MLA Laxmi Hebbalkar was unhappy about MLC Jayamala’s promotion as a minister. Party had guaranteed that the members from the legislative council won’t be given minister-ship, she asserted, including that “the party reneged on its promise by giving a minister status to Jayamala.” 

Further, she said that she will proceed with her work for the Congress party. “I am a self assured person. I am certain my work will say a lot”, she included.
