Dance master killed for defying robbery

Bengaluru: In a suspected burglary cum-murder case, a dance master was purportedly killed when he endeavored to resist a theft in R.M.C. Yard in Peenya police station limits.
Police said the episode occurred on late Saturday and the deceased has been identified as Prem Gautham (30), from Hassan.
Preliminary investigation uncover that Prem had gone to the city on Saturday from Hassan to meet his friend who is a director. While he was heading towards Bhoomika Studio in Goreguntepalya at to meet the director, around three to four men moved toward him and asked him to handover valuables.
At the point when Prem opposed, they purportedly assaulted him with a knife. Prem was wounded on his thigh and abdomen after which the attackers escaped.
The incident came to light exposed when Prem dragged himself till the studio, but died because of loss of blood. In the mean time, Prem’s friends were searching for him and found the body near the studio.
The police was alarmed who hurried to the spot and completed the preliminary examination.
