Rs.25,000 per km to repair damaged roads: H D Revanna

Mangaluru: PWD minister H D Revanna, who was in the district mentioned that the department has decided to release Rs 25,000 per km for the repair of PWD roads which are damaged due to rains.

Addressing the media here on Tuesday, Revanna said, our aim is to make all roads free from potholes and construct drainages wherever required. The department will sanction Rs 25,000 per km,”

Dakshina Kannada DC Sasikanth Senthil said the district requires Rs 19 crore for rain relief works in the district. Of the Rs 19 crore, Rs 6 crore will be for the development of roads through PWD.
