July 13th ‘Paddayi’; 20th ‘Dagalbajilu’

Mangaluru: ‘Paddayi’ Tulu movie produced by Nityananda Pai from Karkala and directed by famed director Abhyasimha will be released on July 13th. Even before release, this movie received the 65th National Film Award and has created a lot of curiosity amongst movie lovers. Most parts of the movie have been shot at Padukere in Malpe. The movie has also been shot at a few other places in Mangaluru and Udupi. This is the first Tulu film to be created with ‘sync sound’ system.

‘Dagalbajilu’ Tulu movie produced by Kumble Santosh Shetty and friends and directed by A. Prashant will see its release throughout Karavali on July 20th.  Suresh Anchan has penned the story, screenplay, dialogue and lyrics. Famed director M.D. Shridhar’s student, A.S. Prashant has directed this movie.
