Tempo overturns near Kadaba, 2 dead

Kadaba: A goods vehicle overturned near the bridge at Kallaje on the Uppinangady-Subrahmanya state highway resulting in the death of two persons including a woman on Thursday morning, August 9th.

The deceased have been identified as Chinnamma (55), a resident of Kokkada near Nelyadi and Harish (30). Geetha (38), who was in the tempo has suffered serious injuries and was shifted to a private hospital in Puttur.

The deceased were travelling in the goods vehicle when the incident the occurred. A few others in the vehicle were also injured.  The mishap occurred when the tempo carrying concrete mixer from Mardhala to Subramanya toppled after the driver lost control over the vehicle near Kallaje Bridge.
