Hussainabba murder case: Bail denied for primary suspects

Udupi: The Karnataka High Court has refused bail to the primary suspects in the murder case of cattle trader Hussainabba from Jokatte who was murdered in Perdoor near Udupi. the six primary suspects in the murder case can now only proceed to Supreme Court to avail bail.
Bajrang Dal activists had allegedly waylaid Hussainabba in the presence of police in May this year and a police department enquiry revealed that Hussainabba died while in police custody. As a result, Hiriadka police station inspector and two policemen were arrested in the case on charges of dereliction of duties.
On Thursday, a parade for identifying the accused was held in Karwar jail and witnesses positively identified all the accused in the case there. Hence, the bail appeals by 2nd, 4th, 6th, 7th, 14th and 15th accused were rejected and will continue their stay in the jail.
However, the High Court approved bail for 9th and 10th accused policemen on Thursday.
