Bengaluru: JD(S) leaders protested against the fuel price hike in the city.
Few JD(S) members rode on a horseback to make a statement against the rising fuel prices.
Activist, Vatal Nagaraj, rode a buffalo at the Majestic Bus Station in the city.
Members of other pro-Kannada organisations including Karnataka Rakshana Vedike, which also joined the bandh call were seen pulling a car with a rope outside Palace Grounds to drive home the point. Some pro-Kannada activists also started playing cricket outside the bus terminus.
Some of the JD(S) workers were seen carrying empty LPG gas cylinders and shouting slogans against the BJP-led Centre over the rising price of cooking gas
A Youth Congress member wore a mask of Modi, sitting astride a two-wheeler that was on a cart.
