BBMP determined to meet the target set up by HC

Bengaluru: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) is determined to meet the deadline set by the High Court of Karnataka to get rid off potholes in the city of potholes by Monday morning.
“We are taking up the work the whole night and will finish the repair.” BBMP said on Sunday.
When asked about the incomplete work at various places and city outskirts not being included in the exercise, authorities claimed that those roads were not being repaired as the BWSSB was laying water pipelines in 110 villages.
“About 1,800 km of road is dug up and the repair on these stretches can be taken up only after the BWSSB finishes the project.”
