Monkey drives bus, driver suspended

Davanagere: A KSRTC bus driver was removed from duty after his video of letting a langur grabing the steering wheel as the he changes gears went viral on social media.
The accused, Prakash from Davanagere division had let a monkey drive a bus plying from Davanagere to Bharamasagara went viral. Enquiry had been led on this.
The incident took place on October 1 in a KSRTC bus plying from Davangere to Bharamasagara.
Taking to press persons, KSRTC official said that, “As of now the driver has been removed from duty and we prioritise on the safety of our passengers. We have been looking into the incident because we are getting a lot of calls about this. Further enquiry will be conducted before taking any decision regarding bringing him back to work. Prakash is apparently an animal lover but it appears that his love for animals could see him suspended from his job.
