H1N1 death toll rises in Karnataka

Bengaluru: A toddler died of H1N1 at a Hospital on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Dhanaraj from Yaganahalli.

Dhanaraj was down from fever since few days and was admitted at a private hospital. Since his condition did not improve, and he died on Thursday evening. Doctors also confirmed that the death was due to H1N1.

With this, the H1N1 death toll in the state has gone up to 12 since January 1. Across the state, 6,113 people were tested for swine flu, of which 770 were reported positive.
