Man commits suicide by jumping before train

Muzaffarnagar: A man committed suicide by jumping before a train near Kandhla railway station in Shamli district, police said Saturday.

They said the 35-year-old man was worried over some personal issue and jumped before a train on Delhi-Saharanpur route Friday evening.

The body has been sent for postmortem.

In another case, a 30-year-old woman struggling with some family issue consumed poison at Salahkheri village in the district Friday evening, police said.

She was rushed to an area hospital where doctors declared her brought dead, they said. 

Police are probing both the cases.
