Youth drowns in a river at Kannaje

Belthangady: A youth drowned here at a river in Kannaje on Sunday November 4th. The deceased has been identified as Steven Rodrigues (24).
Reportedly, Steven and his friends had gone for a swim in the river in the afternoon when the tragedy occurred around 3:30 pm.
The corpse of the deceased has been recovered and sent for post mortem at Belthngady government hospital.
