Three boys, one youth injured while bursting Deepavali crackers

Udupi: The pleasure of bursting crackers during deepavali comes with its own dangers and it proved so to four people, including three boys who were reportedly injured while bursting crackers in the district in the past three days.

Of the injured include a young boy from Udupi and a 14-year-old boy from Kunjibettu, who was admitted to the Udupi district hospital on November 7th. Also, a 25-year-old youth from Paniyur Uchila, suffered eye injuries on Nov 6th and a 11-year-old boy in Alavoor Manipal met with the same fate the next day. Both the injured were admitted to Prasad Nethralaya Eye Hospital in Udupi.
