Mangaluru: Expressing its opposition to the Tipu Jayanthi celebrations organised by the state government on November 10th, the Bajrangdal (BD) has submitted a memorandum to the state government through the City Police Commissioner T R Suresh.
A few Bajrangdal leaders were part of the delegation which submitted the memorandum. The pro-Hindutva group described Tipu Sultan as ‘Anti Hindu’ and therefore found it improper for the government to celebrate the birthday of such a king.
