Robbers barge into house, decamp with jewels, cash

Mangaluru: Three robbers barged into a house at Halekote in Ullal on November 23, Friday night and looted jewellery weighing 17 sovereigns and Rs 3.70 lakhs cash.

Reportedly the locals managed to nab one of the thieves while they were trying to escape and was turned over to the cops later.

It is learnt that thieves were of Tamil Nadu origin.

A case has been registered with Ullal Police.
