Lorry bike accident at Kallapu; rider dies

Ullal: A youth dies on the spot in an accident that occurred between a bike and a lorry at Kallapu on Sunday night December 23rd. The deceased is identified as Yatish (24) and was an employee at in Panambur.

Yatish was on his way to Kumpala from Mangaluru. But as he reached Kallapu, a container lorry hit his bike in the rear. The impact of the collision was such that Yatish was thrown to the road and sustained grievous injuries which claimed his life on the spot.

Dec 27th was his sister’s wedding!

Yatish’s sister’s wedding was to be held on Dec 27th. His father who was working in the postal service had retired in the month of April. Yatish leaves behind his father, mother and a sister.
