Bengaluru: BJP MLA CT Ravi on Wednesday, December 26 lashed out at the Karnataka government by stating that it has failed to utilize the funds sent by the central government for the Smart City project and also questioned the reason behind it.
In the press statement released by BJP leaders, C T Ravi, and A H Anand, they mentioned that out of the Rs 886 crores released by the central government towards the Smart City project the state government has used only Rs 86.02 crores and this clearly shows the negligence of the state government.
The duo praised the Central government by saying the prime minister Narendra Modi without showing any discrimination has released financial grants for all the projects of the state, in spite of it the state government is simply accusing the central government.
They also questioned why the state is not utilizing the funds granted by the central government to seven large cities of the state to develop facilities including basic infrastructure.
