CCB nab ganja peddler; over 1kg ganja seized

Mangaluru: A person has been jointly arrested by the City Crime Branch (CCB) and the Economic Offences police in connection with the peddling of ganja and seized 110 kgs of marijuana in his possession of Friday, January 11. The arrested drug peddler is identified as Abdul Majeed (41), a resident of Bunder.  

As per the police sources, the police detained Majeed for questioning based on a tip-off from a person in Pumpwell junction.

Under interrogation, Majeed confessed of peddling marijuana. A motorcycle and a cell phone in his possession has been seized by the police.
