Five arrested for rave party at homestay

Madikeri: Five persons were arrested by the Kodagu police for holding a rave party at a homestay at Nelaji village near Napoklu.

The accused are identified as Jude Pereira of Pune, Shankar Shanthanu of Mumbai, Sairam Ramesh of Cambridge layout in Bengaluru, M V Ishwar of Mathikere in Bengaluru and homestay owner Maleyanda A Appanna. 

 29-gram of charas, pipes, machines used for powdering ganja, musical instruments, generator, mini lorry and cigarette paper, totally worth Rs 1.75 lakh were seized by the Police, informed sources.
