Cops misbehaves with woman complainant

Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, Assistant Sub-Inspector of  Kumaraswamy layout Police station assaulted a woman complainant who had approached the police station to file a case regarding family dispute.

The ASI who misbehaved with the women is identified as Renukaiah.

It is gathered that two women had approached the police to file a case regarding a family dispute. Instead of helping the women with regard to the case ASI Renukaiah manhandled and shoved the duo away.

Following the incident, DCP Annamalai passed orders to suspend ASI Renukaiah and also ordered a probe into this incident.

Women right activist Brinda Adige demanded the higher authorities to take stern action against the police officials of the Kumaraswamy layout.
