Missing deep sea trawler case: 53 days; no explanation

Malpe: Although 53 days have passed since the mysterious disappearance of the deep sea trawler ‘Suvarna Tribhuja’ along with its crew of 7 fishermen, no important lead has yet been found. The whereabouts of the fishermen remains still a mystery alongside which the families of the missing fishermen are suffering.

Cabin found

The fishermen near Malwan in Maharashtra had located the roof of a cabin of a boat floating at the sea and to clarify if it belonged to the missing deep sea trawler, the fishermen sent an image to the family members of the missing fishermen, but the family confirmed that it was not a part of the missing boat.

No clear informationThe navy has failed to give any clear information till date, regarding the object found on the sea bed. They are only pushing days by giving the excuse of tomorrow or the day after. We are requesting the representatives of the people to ask the defence minister to contact the navy and obtain clear information, said Satish Kunder, president of Malpe fishermen’s association.
