Ullal: Mortal remains of a youth have been found in the front yard of a house at Kapikad under Ullal police station limits on the outskirts of the city. The deceased youth has been identified as Nishan (26), a resident of Ambika Road, son of Vijay, an auto rickshaw driver.

The corpse of the deceased was found in the front yard of the house belonging to Meera Achari. There is suspicion that the youth might have fallen to his death from the nearby Bhagavati Complex building.

It is learnt that Nishan was a drug addict and was also suffering from depression since some time. Yet, the locals suspect the youth’s death to be a result of some foul play. The hand of the deceased is fractured but there are no injuries to his head.

Ullal police have visited the spot and sent the corpse for post mortem. More details awaited.
